ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: Use a germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and check soap and paper dispensers, empty trash cans, and clean toilets.
• Bathroom Cleaning (continued): Wipe down the toilet bowl, seat, and rim, and clean the inside of the toilet with a Johnnie Mop.
• Bathroom Cleaning (continued): Empty and clean ash urns and trash cans, police sidewalks, and clean public area glass.
• Floors: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, empty and clean trash cans, and sanitize floors.
• Outside Areas: Empty and clean ash urns and trash cans, police sidewalks, flower beds, and curb line, and clean public common areas.
• Food Court: Clean and sanitize tables, remove trash, and empty and clean trash cans.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, answer questions courteously, and report issues to supervisor.
• Other Duties: Perform tasks such as floor care, carpet extraction, and floor waxing as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, sitting, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing, bending, twisting, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, grasping, fingering, overhead reaching, and visual acuity.
