About the role

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is a 174-bed acute care hospital serving families in Dorchester, Berkley, and surrounding communities. It is designated as a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center and is seeking Comprehensive Stroke Designation. The hospital also offers a 10-bed Neurosurgical ICU, critical care services, and 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise in cardiology
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participate in the medical staff and hospital committees as needed
• May be required to work call and/or on-call coverage

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
• Licensed in South Carolina or the ability to become licensed in South Carolina prior to starting
• Call of 1:5 with APP support within the practice
