About the role

We are seeking a full-time General Physiatrist (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) care at a recognized, CARF-accredited rehabilitation hospital.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients across diverse specialty areas such as brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee, cardiopulmonary, and orthopedic rehabilitation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, consultants, and internal medicine physicians
• Contribute to a growing PM&R practice with a team of 8 physiatrists
• Participate in teaching and training within a residency program
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation technologies like ReWalk, Ekso RT300, Xcite, and BURT
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a physician-friendly environment
• Support both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs regionally

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R; candidates with lapsed certification are not accepted
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay

Base salary between $250,000 and $270,000, with potential bonuses up to $50,000 based on quality and performance.
