General Assistant- Glasgow

Job Summary

The General Assistant position at Hobbycraft, located in Glasgow, is a 16-hour per week role closing in {x} days.

Responsibilities

• Brand ambassador – passionate about the Hobbycraft brand and embracing change positively
• Teamwork – build great working relationships with the team and treat individuals fairly and respectfully
• Customer Service – deliver outstanding customer service, putting the customer at the heart of everything
• Change – recognize and approach change positively and proactively
• Policies and Procedures – comply with all Company policies and Health and Safety Regulations
• Shop Floor – deliver excellent standards and know what good looks like
• Cash Handling – operate the till and handle cash, credit/debit cards, and gift cards transactions accurately
• Click and Collect – assist with the Click and Collect process
• Stock Control – be vigilant to help minimize stock loss and follow tagging processes
• Workshops – host various workshops as required

Requirements

• Experience in retail (or similar)
• A confident communicator with outstanding customer service skills
• A passion for craft
• Selling skills are advantageous
• Stock replenishment
• Cash handling
• Comfortable operating within guidelines and policies
• Able to work at pace and with accuracy
