About the role

We are looking for a talented General Assembly to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Mineral Point, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Safety : By promptly reporting hazards and incidents, and using appropriate personal protective equipment, you will help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Promoting Health : Engaging in HSE training and promoting interdependence will contribute to a healthier workplace.
  • Maintaining Quality : Following standard work procedures and performing quality inspections will help minimize costs and improve product quality.
  • Sustaining Cleanliness : Keeping your work area clean and orderly will contribute to a more efficient and pleasant working environment.
  • Applying Best Practices : Utilizing Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodology will help optimize plant operations.
  • Fostering Teamwork : Effective communication with your team and support teams will ensure smooth operations and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Driving Improvement : Actively participating in identifying ways to improve quality, safety, processes, and employee development will drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience : High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • Additional Information : Previous Assembly skills would be beneficial.
