General Assembler - Urgent Need

About the role

Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, perform maintenance on, and troubleshoot equipment
• Fabricate, manufacture, assemble, test, and package medical devices
• Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and scientific methods
• Adhere to quality guidelines
• Read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English
• Perform basic math calculations
• Use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes
• Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• More than two years of manufacturing assembly experience
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 2 to 3 years of experience in electromechanical or electronic fields preferred
• Ability to read and interpret schematics
• Experience in assembly processes
• Proficiency in welding and soldering techniques
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with technical hardware
• Knowledge of testing procedures is preferable

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Pay & schedule

• Pay range: $16-20/hr
• 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
• 40 hours per week
