Position : General Assembler – Urgent Need

Description

Description: Summary of Position with General Responsibilities: - Perform duties associated with the manufacturing process (clean room and finished goods manufacturing). Essential Job Functions:

• Operate sealers, drying ovens, and test equipment used in the Avitene cleanroom.
• Operate label maker machine(s), load sterilizer racks.
• Assemble, inspect, and package devices per relevant operating procedures
• Know and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory/procedural requirements at all times
• Complete all relevant Device History Records (DHR) as required, complying with Quality System requirements
• Vacuum, clean and sanitize rooms and equipment as required
• Train others on work instructions when required
• Perform duties in controlled environments as required
• Maintain a good attendance and on-time record as outlined in the Attendance Guidelines for our facility
• The ability to work overtime

Additional Manufacturing Job Functions:

• Operate the Pack-West and Kalix equipment as required.
• Absorb and implement lean thinking programs throughout manufacturing

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be able to comprehend work instructions written in English
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Computer literacy is required (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge: Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1 or more years of experience working in a medical device/electronics assembly/packaging environment

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to sit, stand, move, twist and bend to operate, move and clean equipment and clean room(s)

Work Environment:

• Clean Room or Manufacturing floor
