GE Vernova is seeking a skilled General Assembler to join our team focused on building instrument transformers to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience using a variety of tools and torque wrenches in an assembly environment. Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for this role.

Qualifications / Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Proven experience as a general assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing work instructions.

Desired Characteristics

• Previous experience specifically in assembling instrument transformers or similar electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and make adjustments as necessary.

Physical Characteristics

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy components and equipment.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.

Pay

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
