General Assembler - 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 2PM - 12AM

Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for the maintenance of forms and racks. Work with production team to repair, replace and maintain tooling for production needs on a daily basis.

• Works from written and verbal instructions while adhering to policies and procedures to safely:
• Inspect forms and racks, to ensure that they are ready for production use.
• Repair and replace forms, wires and racks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Educational Qualifications & Previous Experience

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Accurately able to measure weight, volume and temperature.

Professional Skills & Key Competencies

• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands or arms (to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls).
• The employee is occasionally required to walk; stand; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 35 pounds as high as 76”.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and sometimes must climb up a ladder to reach storage drawers.
