Responsibilities

• Follows safety policies and procedures.
• Fulfills all required GMP’s and manufacturing procedures.
• Assembles various types and sizes of products, components, and sub-assemblies using standard and specialty assembly machines or hand operations.
• Performs tasks such as pressing, bonding, soldering, flaring, stripping, clamping, sanding, welding, mounting, taking down, inspecting parts, setting fixtures, and performing minor maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Meets daily production goals and builds high-quality products according to specifications after initial training.
• Assists in training new manufacturing personnel.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities to enhance team performance.
• Works flexible hours and reports to work regularly.
• Collaborates well in a team environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, interpret, comprehend, and follow specifications in English.
• Able to perform basic math calculations and use measuring devices and tools.
• Maintains dexterity requirements.
• Displays visual accuracy through company-approved programs.
• Maintains a positive attitude.
• Able to work flexible and/or extended hours.
• Willing to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or at least one (1) year of medical device manufacturing experience.
• Minimum one (1) year of consecutive work experience.

Physical Demands

• Ability to work under magnification for long periods of time.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 30 lbs. (with assistance for more than 30 lbs.).
• Repetitive use of hands for finger, hand, arm movements, and repetitive hand/wrist movement.

Work Environment

• May require exposure to chemicals used in manufacturing processes.
• Some minor physical inconvenience or discomfort occasionally present in the work situation (moderate noise, disagreeable odors, etc.).
