General Anesthesia Assistant (DANB required)

About the role

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM seeks a General Anesthesia Assistant to support the pediatric dental practice and outpatient surgery center, reporting to the Specialty Services Manager, and to help provide high-quality care to underserved children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team with a smooth flow of anesthesia support services
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents and educate them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Travel as needed to assist with anesthesia services
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable (cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
• Participate in other duties supporting the mission of providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi‑task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification

Pay

Pay range: $21.00‑$27.00 per hour (plus bonus opportunity)
