Responsibilities
- Create sales orders and prepare invoices for parts-related customer orders
- Process inventory transactions, generate inventory reports, and coordinate periodic physical inventory counts
- Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales tax returns
- Ensure timely completion of internal and external financial reporting requirements
- Reconcile company credit card transactions and investigate discrepancies
- Analyze financial data by creating spreadsheet reports and validating data accuracy
- Prepare and post system-generated general ledger entries
- Maintain and track company fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation
- Reconcile fixed assets, employee receivables, prepaid expenses, and other assigned balance sheet accounts
- Manage bookkeeping and coordinate facility-related accounting activities for company real estate entities
- Research and resolve accounting questions while providing timely follow-up on outstanding issues
- Afford support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other accounting-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with cost accounting concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent data entry and reconciliation skills
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Positive, customer-focused attitude
