Gem Physician Assistant Aide

Position Duties

• Learning and practicing the Spanish language through various Spanish speaking rotations.
• Thrive in a high-tech and high touch environment.
• Hand out mental health resources.
• Utilize open-door policies to facilitate more contact between students and faculty.
• Take advantage of practical training opportunities off campus.

Member Duties

• Help increase, expand, and/or enhance health programs and services by helping patients and/or clients along in the intake process.
• Model mental health coping skills and strategies needed for resiliency.
• Actively listen for indicators that the patient/client needs access to mental health resources and discreetly provide those resources.
