Gear Specialist/Inside Sales

Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and someone who enjoys coordinating technical projects from start to finish? We're looking for a Gear Specialist/Inside Sales to join our inside sales team and play a critical role in supporting outside sales representatives with complex electrical distribution projects. This is not a cold-calling sales position. Instead, you'll work behind the scenes preparing quotations, reviewing project specifications, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring projects move smoothly from estimate to execution. Responsibilities

• Support outside sales representatives by preparing quotations for electrical gear and project opportunities.
• Review blueprints, electrical plans, and project specifications.
• Develop accurate pricing and project proposals.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to obtain pricing and product information.
• Recommend alternative solutions that best meet customer needs and project requirements.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and the sales team throughout the quoting process.
• Assist in resolving project questions, order issues, and customer requests.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and correspondence.
• Help coordinate multiple projects while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in electrical distribution, manufacturing, engineering support, project coordination, or a related industry is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
