Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, evaluate, introduce, and manage engineering solutions for product control and control system technology needs.
- Apply control theory and mathematical modeling to design and control systems with desired behaviors.
- Includes operability, setting of boundaries, cycle optimization, control logic, control related software, sensors, hardware and software algorithms, and feedback to control the performance of devices, subsystems and systems.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- Basic experience in the Engineering/Technology & Controls Engineering.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Experience with real time controls design or modeling.
- Strong academic exposure in Controls design and projects are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Control system design experience PLC/HMI programming and control system design.
