About the role

This paid internship with GE Vernova Communications provides valuable exposure to a full array of global communication skills, disciplines, and functions. Work closely with the team on-site in Greenville, SC to deliver tangible results across a spectrum of internal communications opportunities. Gain experience supporting external communication projects. Commit to a one-year tenure in this position. Work on-site at our manufacturing facility 2–3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tangible results across internal communications opportunities
• Support external communication projects
• Attend site events to conduct on-site interviews, capture high-quality photography, and produce engaging written features
• Create and edit visual content, including video and design (e.g., Canva)
• Assist with website management, including site updates and maintenance

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing
• Strong writing skills
• Minimum of 3.0/4.0 GPA (without rounding)
• Proven experience in corporate or internal communications with a strong emphasis on long-form writing and storytelling
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with employees at all levels of the organization

Skills

• Creative design and visual content creation (e.g., Canva)
• Video editing
• Fundamental understanding of website management

Pay

The pay range for this position is $300–500 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
