Responsibilities

• Use Bill of Material and print to test coils to comply with safety, quality, and methods procedures.
• Setup and operate testing equipment used in leak detection of copper, brass, and cupro-nickel construction.
• Operate equipment, set up equipment, identify and locate required tooling, and inspect coils prior to test.
• Assemble vent and drain plugs, if required.
• Apply set pressure to coil and submerge under water to check for leaks.
• Repair all leaks and record data.

Requirements

• Must be flexible, problem-solving oriented, adaptable to change, and display initiative to learn and make improvements in the workplace.
• Must be a certified brazer.
