About the Role

Flare tube extensions assemble return bends and various copper hookup components into coils and join these with brazing rod using an oxygen-acetylene torch. Braze sub-assemblies using various rods and/or braze return bends, headers, and subassemblies to coils using coil prints.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coils for brazing and braze coils using various types of rods.
• Make own setups and braze any coil that comes through the department.
• Read blueprints and use simple arithmetic.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist in personnel training as required.
