About the role

As an Associate in the Investment Banking division, you will be a cornerstone of our deal teams, driving the execution of complex financial transactions including M&A, divestitures, and capital raises. You will lead the analytical process by developing sophisticated financial models and bespoke valuations, while managing comprehensive due diligence workstreams and coordinating cross-functional teams of legal and tax advisors.

  • Offer deep exposure to the firm’s global platform, providing a high-velocity environment to sharpen your leadership, communication, and marketing expertise as you help clients navigate their most critical milestones

Requirements

  • Professional and Academic Foundation: Strong academic record with an MBA and 1+ year of investment banking experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Sector Expertise: Proven experience advising asset management firms, including private market GPs, traditional managers, and wealth management platforms
  • Technical and Execution Proficiency: Advanced Financial Modeling, Mastery of corporate finance and valuation methodologies, including DCF, LBO, merger modeling, and precedent transaction analysis; Demonstrated success in managing buy-side and sell-side M&A, as well as equity and debt financing workstreams; Proficiency in conducting multi-disciplinary due diligence (business, financial, legal); and preparing high-stakes marketing materials and RFPs
  • Leadership and Behavioral Competencies: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to multi-task and manage complex timelines under pressure; Collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within diverse deal teams and foster a productive group environment; Rigorous work ethic characterized by high motivation levels and an uncompromising attention to detail in all work products; Unwavering personal integrity combined with the initiative to lead workstreams and the leadership qualities necessary to mentor junior analysts; Capacity to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact for clients and external advisors

Pay

The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $150000-$225000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
