Gate Service Representative

About the role

You will be supporting the intermodal trucking community by leveraging proprietary technology to perform intermodal gate transactions, maintenance, and repair at specific REMPREX-supported terminals in a fast-paced outdoor environment. The role is based at the Cicero terminal (5601 W. 26th Street, Cicero, IL 60804) and requires 100% on-site presence during shifts. REMPREX, headquartered in Lisle, Illinois, specializes in the operation, support, and engineering of intermodal terminals and ports nationwide, delivering safe, efficient, and scalable services. Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on AGS equipment and its components (training provided)
• Proactively report on system specifications, operations, inventory needs, and site performance
• Explain site health information and provide technical insight on system repairs to client management
• Help test new‑generation AGS components and provide reliability and suitability reports to management
• Help install and commission AGS equipment on site, as required
• Accurately and efficiently process automated and manual gate transactions as needed
