Gate House Security Officer

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Concierge Security Officer in North Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in High-End Homeowner's Association (HOA) security, with a current PILB and proficiency in computer and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Professionally answer all phones and provide site observations and reporting.
• Provide critical access control by checking IDs and handling deliveries.
• May perform regular foot patrols of the property safely, as needed.
• Use computers and electronic tools to fulfill duties.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Write detailed reports on guests or residents, including enforcement of procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in HOA security, with 1 year in a high-end environment.
• Current PILB.
• Proficiency in using computers and electronic equipment.
• Able to work on holidays as scheduled for your shift.
• Excellent people skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, or sit throughout the shift, and handle any weather conditions.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Strong work ethic.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

$18.05 per hour, with potential for DailyPay.

Schedule

A 32-hour work week with a Day/Grave mix schedule: 8AM to 4PM on Saturdays and Sundays, and 12AM to 8AM on Thursdays and Fridays.
