About the role

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a highly regarded group practice opportunity in the Greensboro/ High Point/ Winston Salem area.

Responsibilities

• Focus exclusively on consultative and procedural gastroenterology
• Enjoy excellent referral relationships within a highly collegial medical community
• Perform outpatient procedures at an accredited Endoscopy Center with 4 first-class procedure rooms and an outstanding support staff
• Conduct inpatient consults and procedures at two nearby hospitals
• Offer competitive initial guaranteed salary and productivity bonus opportunity
• Have the option for equal shareholdership after 2 fiscal years
• Shareholder income distribution formula is almost entirely productivity based
• Participate in a '1 in 6' GI call rotation

Requirements

• Advanced endoscopic skills preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Good teamwork with staff and colleagues
• A solid work ethic
• A strong service orientation toward patients and referring physicians

Qualifications

• Medical degree
• Board certification in Gastroenterology
• Current license to practice medicine in North Carolina
