About the Role

Based on current population metrics, our community has a verified need for 5 full-time GI providers, yet there are currently only 2 practicing in the area. This significant gap ensures a rapid ramp-up period and a consistent, robust patient base.

Primary Market

If your current Salary plus productivity exceeds our compensation package we will match for year 1 to help bridge your start up!

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative medical services to patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
  • Perform various endoscopic procedures including, but not limited to, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.
  • Manage acute and chronic GI conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate effectively with primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
  • Commit to continuous professional development and stay abreast of advancements in gastroenterology.
  • Actively participate in departmental and hospital committees as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship program.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Current, unrestricted Ohio medical license (or eligible for licensure).
  • DEA registration.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
