Gastroenterology Physician

About the role

Outpatient Gastroenterologist position in a clinic located in the Florida Keys, serving a community near Key Largo, with proximity to Miami and Key West.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient GI services with 1–2 procedure days for scopes and 3–4 office days.
• Perform procedures at a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with clinic staff, including Medical Assistants.
• Participate in credentialing at the local hospital.
• Maintain high-quality patient care in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in Gastroenterology required.
• Ability to perform scopes and other GI procedures.
• Excellent communication and clinical skills.
• Willingness to relocate to the community.

Key Duties

• Deliver outpatient GI care without call or weekend responsibilities.
• Contribute to a newly established clinic, which will be operational within 60 days.
• Ensure compliance with malpractice coverage with tail coverage.
