Gastroenterology Physician
About the Role
We are seeking Gastroenterologists to join an expanding group in a state-of-the-art facility in the Oxford, MS area. The practice offers a competitive compensation package, complete benefits, and relocation assistance. ERCP capabilities are available at the hospital but are not a required skill.
You will gain referrals from 12+ counties with a large primary care base in the area. The position includes 10 days of call per month, with hospitalists admitting unless emergent (hospitalists are in-house 24/7). You will work out of a single 217-bed hospital that is 7 years old, featuring a full spectrum of specialties and full-time hospitalists on-site.
The team consists of great collaborative and collegial physicians and an administrative team. J1 Visa waiver support is available.
Responsibilities
- Provide gastroenterology care in a state-of-the-art facility
- Manage patient referrals from a large primary care base across 12+ counties
- Take 10 days of call per month (hospitalists handle admissions unless emergent)
- Work collaboratively with a collegial team of physicians and administrators
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor
- With or without U.S. residency
- Current U.S. work visa (J1 Visa waiver support available)
