Job Summary
HCA Florida JFK Hospital and HCA Florida JFK North Hospital are actively seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join their dynamic and expanding Gastroenterology Program. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical excellence, innovation, and medical education in two of the most desirable locations in South Florida.
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- ERCP proficiency required
- Advanced endoscopic skills strongly preferred, including:
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)
- Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD)
- Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- Balloon-Assisted Enteroscopy
- Capsule Endoscopy
- Endoluminal Stenting
- Interest in teaching and graduate medical education
- Desire to assist in developing and launching a Gastroenterology Fellowship Program
Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive GI care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with a wide range of surgical specialists, including: colorectal, bariatric, and general surgery
- Participate in and help lead educational programs within their ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine and Surgery Residency Programs
- Contribute to the strategic development of subspecialty training and academic programming in gastroenterology
