About the role
Fairview Park Hospital is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a Private Practice in their network of specialists in Dublin, GA.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality gastroenterology care to patients in the Dublin, GA area
- Collaborate with other specialists and support staff to ensure patient care continuity
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of gastroenterology knowledge
- Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows through teaching and mentoring
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
- A current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Georgia - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions
- No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
- Current, unrestricted DEA registration
Qualifications
- Must have completed a Gastroenterology residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- Must have completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology (preferred but not required)
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a busy caseload
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
