About the Role
Provide locum tenens support as a Gastroenterology Physician in a hospital-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inpatient rounding and handle emergency and inpatient consults.
- Perform general gastroenterology procedures, including preferred Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
- Cover a 24-hour call schedule.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Active Georgia medical license.
- DEA registration and Georgia Controlled Substance Registration.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Quick credentialing preferred for qualified candidates.
Key Duties
- Provide specialized gastroenterology care.
- Handle urgent cases.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
