Gastroenterology Physician
About the role
An outpatient-focused gastroenterology practice located in Southern Missouri. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays. There is no assigned call, and there is one dedicated procedure day per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform GI consultations, evaluations, follow-up visits, and longitudinal care
- Support inpatient consultative GI services as needed
Requirements
No ERCP or advanced endoscopy requirements. Ability to obtain/maintain a medical license in the state of Missouri. One to two years of general GI/endoscopy experience preferred. Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology. Completion of or in process of gastroenterology fellowship. DEA eligible. Prefer experience serving community hospital or rural health settings.
Qualifications
Medical Doctor with or without US residency and current US work visa.
Skills
- Ability to obtain/maintain medical license in state of Missouri
- One to two years of general GI/endoscopy experience preferred
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Completion of or in process of Gastroenterology Fellowship
- DEA Eligible
- Experience serving community hospital or rural health settings preferred
