Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner
About the role
Join a collegial team of five (5) physicians in a new role to provide additional support in the inpatient setting.
This is a full time position with a Monday-Friday schedule. Cover one facility, Skagit Valley Hospital, located in Mount Vernon.
Responsibilities
- Help support a dynamic inpatient patient population with a variety of complex gastroenterological conditions.
- Be responsible for helping with daytime phone calls for our inpatient program.
- No evening or weekend call required.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
- 2-4 years of experience is required.
- Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
- Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.
