About the role

The role of Medical Director, Intestinal Rehabilitation is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and quality of care provided within the Intestinal Rehabilitation program. This includes developing and implementing evidence-based practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing leadership and mentorship to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices for the Intestinal Rehabilitation program.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team of clinicians and staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve patient outcomes and program efficiency.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in gastroenterology or related field.
  • Experience in managing complex gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and mentor a team.
