Gastroenterology Locums

About the Role

This position provides travel coverage as a Gastroenterologist in Bay City, MI. You will deliver 24-hour coverage from Monday to Friday, including on-call duties Monday through Thursday nights.

Support includes hospitalist assistance and access to nearby GI specialists. Credentialing is estimated to take 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized gastroenterology services, including ERCP.
• Manage 24-hour coverage and on-call duties as scheduled.
• Maintain compliance with credentialing standards and medical requirements.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology or willing to review certification.
• ERCP competency required.
• Michigan medical license required; IMLC accepted if applicable.
• DEA registration and NPDB self-query.
• Compliance with medical and health requirements, including vaccinations and TB testing.
