Gastroenterology - Advanced Practice Provider

About the role

Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join their growing Outpatient Gastroenterology team in Peoria and Pekin, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Monday-Friday schedule from 8am-4:30pm, with the option to work 4, 10-hour shifts.
• Initial training in Peoria, IL, with transition to Pekin, IL.
• Primary responsibilities include performing H&P on new patients and seeing return patients for various GI conditions such as autoimmune, hepatitis, viral hepatitis, IBS, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, gastritis, PUD, GERD, anemia, dysphagia, pancreatitis, diverticulitis, celiac disease, EPI.
• Job functions include ordering and interpreting labs/imaging results, prescribing medication, ordering EGD/Colonoscopy/ERCP/EUS, and following up after procedures to review pathology with patients.
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff for autonomy and practice development.
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR for improved care coordination.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing with Acute Care/Adult/Geriatric/Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant GI clinicals or work experience is a plus, but not required.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse OR physician assistant licensure.
• The opportunity to start immediately upon credentialing & privileging.

Compensation And Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $60.72 - $78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
