Gastroenterologist - Locums Coverage

About the role

Seeking a locum tenens Gastroenterologist for 24-hour shifts with call coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and therapeutic procedures
• Perform lower GI endoscopy including colonoscopy with polypectomy
• Perform esophageal procedures such as dilatation and manometry
• Respond to calls within a 30-minute timeframe
• Document assignment details online
• Maintain 24-hour access to a healthcare consultant

Note: ERCP and EUS are not required.

Schedule

• 24-hour shifts with call coverage
• One day of orientation included
