Seeking a Gastroenterologist for inpatient, 24-hour call coverage in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including hospital rounding, emergency department coverage, and scheduled procedures for adult patients.
• Manage 3–6 consultations daily.
• Coordinate with anesthesia support for procedures.

Work Environment

On-site facility with anesthesia teams available during day shifts and weekends, following established gastroenterology protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• Board certification in gastroenterology is negotiable.
• Ability to handle inpatient consultations and emergency coverage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills are essential.

Additional Details

The role involves on-call duties for the entire shift, with a caseload of 3–6 consults daily, and support staff available.
