Gastroenterologist - General and Sub-specialty

About the role

The selected candidate would join an established group of up to 4 Gastroenterologists and 5 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants providing gastroenterology services in a physician-led, stable organization, committed to high quality patient care and satisfaction. General Gastroenterology care will be required although practice is open to additional areas of interest. Areas of sub-specialty interest include motility, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, and pancreas.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive gastroenterology care.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and manage patient consultations.
• Participate in research and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines.
• Engage in educational activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Support the integration of Mayo Clinic Gastroenterology practices across different locations.

Requirements

• Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Current Minnesota State License.
• Experience in general and/or sub-specialty gastroenterology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Gastroenterology residency program.
• Passing scores on relevant boards.
