Gastroenterologist (General and Advanced) / Hospitalist - Full-Time

Seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist and GI Hospitalist to join an established, physician-led, nonprofit health system serving northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. Responsibilities: Partner with an experienced gastroenterologist to build a flexible practice encompassing clinic, procedures, and inpatient care. Perform general gastroenterology, GI hospitalist duties, and potentially subspecialties. Conduct procedures in hospital and ASC settings, with support from dedicated staff and advanced equipment such as Olympus endoscopy tools. Participate in teaching opportunities with regional medical programs. Qualifications & Skills: MD or DO with BE/BC in gastroenterology. Skills in advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS) are welcomed but not mandatory. Strong clinical, procedural, and interpersonal skills are essential. Key Duties: Manage approximately 75% screening and 25% diagnostic procedures, with a call schedule of 1:4. Customize clinic and procedural volume to personal interests.
