Gastroenterologist (General, Advanced & Hospitalist)

Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist and GI Hospitalist to join a physician-led, nonprofit health system in southwest Michigan. Responsibilities include: Providing outpatient Gastroenterology services, GI Hospitalist care, or a combination based on practice needsPerforming procedures at multiple hospital campuses and ambulatory surgery centersCollaborating with a team of experienced Gastroenterologists and Advanced Practice ProvidersOffering teaching opportunities through an affiliated medical school, including faculty roles and student rotationsUtilizing modern Cerner Oracle EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings Qualifications and skills: MD/DO with appropriate certificationsExperience or interest in advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS) preferred but not requiredAdditional clinical interests such as Motility, Hepatology, or Inflammatory Bowel Disease are welcomedStrong clinical and communication skillsFlexible practice model with opportunities in outpatient and inpatient care Key duties include: Managing patient care in outpatient clinics and hospital settingsPerforming procedures and supporting inpatient and outpatient servicesParticipating in teaching and collaborative initiatives
