About the role

The After School Care Provider is responsible for supervising and engaging students in a safe and nurturing environment after regular school hours. This position includes providing enrichment activities by grade level, devotions, crafts, homework time, and outdoor playtime. This role plays a crucial role in supporting the school’s mission to prepare people, teach truth, and glorify God.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students in a safe and nurturing environment after regular school hours
• Provide enrichment activities by grade level
• Lead devotions
• Facilitate crafts and homework time
• Organize and facilitate outdoor playtime

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Exhibit a lifestyle that reflects a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual with a genuine interest in the well-being of children
• Flexibility in working with parents and GCS staff
• The general schedule is 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm daily, with certain longer full days required. Must be available at least 12-15 hours per week
