Job Summary

BAYADA Habilitation is seeking a Companion/Buddy to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Maui area. This role involves spending time with clients, fostering independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. No prior experience is required.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build long-lasting relationships with clients in a one-on-one setting
• Spend time on clients' favorite hobbies and activities
• Support clients in developing their independence and achieving their goals
• Ensure client safety and well-being in the home and community
• Have fun on Maui as a supportive Buddy!

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
• Passion for providing opportunities to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Patience, empathy, and dedication
• The ability to read and write in English
