Gas Station Attendant

Job Duties

• Maintains proper function of gas pumps during operation.
• Affixes labels to gas stations as needed.
• Assists members with questions and concerns.
• Cleans gas spills using neutralizing agents and/or absorbing cloths.
• Performs routine maintenance and inspections on station equipment.
• Loads pump receipt tape and ribbons.
• Inspects and maintains equipment, including filters and nozzles.
• Ensures compliance with national fire codes and Costco safety policies.
• Responds to alarms and uses fire extinguishers as necessary.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery as needed.
• Assists with department and warehouse duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
• High level of member service skills.
• Knowledge of gas station operations and safety protocols.
• Basic understanding of gas station equipment and maintenance.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
