About the role
This engineering specialist is responsible for engineering assignments of moderate scope and complexity on a variety of projects and assignments in support of both field and staff roles. Responsibilities may include engineering support for SCADA and process control projects for pressure monitoring, pressure controls, flow monitoring, and flow controls, remote control valves, process control, HMI systems, field device communications, specifications, and programming.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and recommendations of design options, recommendations for SCADA components, preparation of SCADA engineering designs, material and specifications and cost estimates
- Review of internal and external construction plans and implementation of construction activities for more complex projects
- Perform engineering calculations and SCADA system modifications
- Lead Root Cause Analysis activities
