GAS Laborer/Groundman

About the role
The Gas Laborer supports the Line team by performing general labor tasks, including restoration work such as clean up and laying sod at project sites. This position involves adhering to safety policies and learning skilled tasks over time.
Responsibilities
- Perform unskilled tasks, including jobsite cleanup and laying sod.
- Adhere to basic safety policies and procedures.
- Observe and learn skilled tasks, such as fusing of pipe.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 or more years of related experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This role operates in a field environment and routinely requires:
- Extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting (including in awkward positions), standing, and twisting.
- Working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Clarity of vision at varying distances and precise hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
