Job Type

Various locations throughout Indiana.

Compensation

The compensation package is very competitive for the industry. Positions are non‑exempt with opportunities for overtime. Per diem may be available for those outside the specified distance from the work site, and mileage and other reimbursements may be included.

Position Summary

This project‑based role requires thorough knowledge of all construction activities, means, and methods to ensure projects are completed in accordance with applicable standards, engineering design, regulatory guidelines, permits, and schedules. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who delivers top‑tier customer service, maintains the highest quality, and thrives in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of construction activities for gas distribution.
  • Ensure the team adheres to the highest safety standards.
  • Engage with clients and fellow team members to conduct efficient operations.
  • Maintain compliance with all standards of conduct, client SOPs, company policies, and procedures.
  • Perform inspection of contractors’ duties on pipe‑replacement projects, including squeezing, grounding, purging, and PE pipe fitting installation (½” through 8”).
  • Complete and maintain all Paxon and client‑specific Operator Qualifications.
  • Exercise authority to STOP WORK as required to prevent on‑site mishaps and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in pipeline inspection, industrial construction, and pipeline construction.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and excellent attention to detail.
  • Preferred: NACE CIP Level 1 certification.
  • Preferred: API 1169 certification.
