Gas Distribution Inspector

Position Summary

This is a project-based position, and you should demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all construction activities, means and methods to ensure projects are completed in accordance with all applicable requirements including standards, engineering design, regulatory guidelines, permits and schedules. If you are a self-starter and motivated to provide the best customer service and highest quality and thrive in a demanding environment, this might be your next role. Duties

• Perform inspection of all contractors’ duties on pipe replacement projects including squeezing, grounding, purging, and PE pipe fitting installation of ½” through 8”.
• Complete and maintain all Paxon and client specific Operator Qualifications.
• Exercise your authority to STOP WORK as required to prevent on-site work mishaps and maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• A combination of experience in pipeline inspection, industrial construction, and pipeline construction of at least three to five (3-5) years.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and providing excellent customer service.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and have excellent attention to detail.
