Gas Designer

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or other design-related degrees. The role involves working in 3D and 2D with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Civil for the production of quality construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Work in 3D and 2D with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Civil for the production of quality construction drawings at all phases for client, municipal, and regulatory agency review
• Peer review and QAQC prior to a final review project construction drawings
• Conduct preliminary field work including 3D scanning and data collecting which may involve carrying approximately 10 lbs throughout the work day
• Expected amount of field work is approximately 5-10% of annual work load and may require up to 2 hours of driving, but may vary based on client needs and project assignments

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or other closely related field
• AutoCAD experience (Plant 3D and Civil 3D preferred, but not required)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Presents and conducts themselves in a professional manner
• Able to pace themselves and work within defined project budgets
• Able to balance multiple projects and assignments and prioritize their individual workload
• Need to possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving history required
• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to carry 10 lbs throughout the workday sometimes through difficult terrain such as forests, agriculture fields, etc.
• Ability to pass a client background check
