Daily and Weekly Caretaking

• Make sure the garden, flower beds, and walkways are cleaned of fallen leaves, palm fronds, or fruit, and dispose of them.
• Overall pruning, weeding, trimming, and caretaking of plants once weekly.
• Occasional planting and focused work on certain areas of the garden.

Qualifications

• People who enjoy working outdoors and don’t mind getting dirty.
• Those who take pride in their work and in the garden.
• Experience or training in horticulture is not required but is a bonus.
• Master Gardeners looking for volunteer hours.
• High schoolers seeking community service hours.

Commitment

• Daily cleaning takes about 1 hour every weekday morning starting at 8:30 AM.
• Once-weekly weeding and pruning can be done on a day of your choosing.
• These tasks may be shared among multiple individuals.
