Garden Center Associate

About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our greenhouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our greenhouse, including planting, watering, and assisting customers. This is a full-time position with hours being 7:30am-3:30pm, and more hours around holidays (i.e. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas). Saturdays are required, as well as approximately one Sunday a month. Responsibilities

• Planting, watering, and caring for plants
• Helping garden center customers
• Assisting with landscaping projects
• Cleaning and maintaining greenhouse facilities and equipment
• Other greenhouse duties as needed

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Prior experience working in a greenhouse or landscaping preferred, but not required
