Garage Mechanic 2nd Shift

About the role

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to diagnosis and repair of all phases of vehicle maintenance, road testing, inspection and ability to make road service calls outside the Broadway location as needed. Must own necessary tools to perform job duties. Individual must successfully complete a 90-day probationary training period.

Requirements

• Class A CDL required
• State inspection license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong reading and oral comprehension skills
• Team player attitude
• Certification in A/C, refrigeration, and brake work preferred
• Excellent attendance, safety, and work record

Skills

• Five to seven years of experience
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Perform major repairs in electrical, hydraulics, drive train, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment

Schedule

Monday – Friday (some Saturdays & weekends required), 2:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Pay

• Base hourly rate: $25.80 – $31.80
• Shift differential: +$1.00 per hour
• Perfect attendance incentive: +$2.00 per hour
