Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair garage doors, door operators, replace worn or broken door parts, and install new equipment including doors, door operators, and springs.
• Educate customers about the work performed and collect payment.
• Manage inventory in your vehicle to ensure you have the right equipment, tools, and products to install and service the equipment.

Requirements

• Must have mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds independently and work in various conditions, including heat and cold.
• Must have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and solve issues.
• Must be reliable and able to serve our customers following our process.
• Basic position requirements include being able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge and experience in the garage door industry or carpentry is preferred but not required – we will train you.
• Must be able to use a computer and/or tablet, and use hand tools and operate mechanical equipment.

Pay and Benefits

• During your training period, you will receive a base pay of $20/hr. After training, you will receive an hourly rate of $25 with opportunities to move up from there.
